Ebay Alert

I was scammed!

Yup, and for a cool four thousand. Sob. Sniff.

In as much a si want to forget about it .... it's hard.

Looking back at how our negotations went, i really did not feel any suspicion or bad feelings, i felt good actually. The person i transacted with was very nice and accomodating (too good to be true now that i am processing it.) and to suspect soemthing wrong was really out of the picture.

Now here i am, scammed.

Beware fello online shoppers ... be wary. I let my guard down and now it cost me. Lesson learned. The hard way :(

Bazaar Hunt

I am off to the bazaar in the afternoon!

After many days of pondering if it a wise choice to go on a weekend, i decided, yes! Tee hee! I was thinking today is the last weekend before Christmas so i might be able to score a few good deals sinec most of the people are done with their shopping. I am still looking for some neos overshoes for my papa, and hopefully in this bazaar which boasts of having the most participating booths i might just get lucky. I am arranging that the kids stay with my mama first so i can shop for them as well and they don't have to endure the long lines. I know i will find what i am looking for today .... optimism is working here!

Party Time

We will be going to different parties this comeing days and i have been asked so many time what i will bring for the table. I commit myself to bring ham to my mama's place, fruit salad at my sister's lunch reunion and now for my the school party i have decided to bring icecream since we are just near the school there is no chance for it to melt before we get there. I will be getting the icecream that comes in multiple flavors in one tub. It is just a toss up on the chocolate strawberry combination or the mocha mango duo. I will check my budget, and if it permits me to have both of them o will bring them both so i will be seeing colorful lips from happy school kids. Hahaha!

Project Frenzy

My girls are super busy with their year end projects. They are both not doing computer time today as they are both seriously cross stitching to make the deadline to get the highest grade possible. Tomoorow is the deadline if you want a grade of 95, and if you pass it on Tuesday you can only get a high grade of 93 and submit on Wednesday for a possible grade of 90.

The race is on!

Sensitive Issue

My friend and i were talking candidly yesterday when she sort of opened up that her husband and her are having a bit help in the bedroom department. I made sure my kids were not within hearing range, tee hee! We were whispering a bit while giggling like teenagers as we swapped married life stories. She even told me that they sometimes make use of some male enhancement cream at one point. I did not find anything offensive about it since we were good friends who were talking about normal things. I guess it is how you look at it that somethimes it comes off in a different light when in truth this just a fact of life and it can happen to anyone in a healthy and loving relationship.

Full Weekend

It will be another busy weekend ... and i love it!

The kids will be busy with me too. I scheduled a swimming day for them tomorrow and whats special about it is that they don't know it yet. The magic of them not knowing it is i don't hear Vin asking me 24/7 how many more days, hours and even minutes before D day.

I will just savor the silence and mostly the happy and suprised faces when i tell them minutes before ... hahaha!

Tempting

I am thinking of applying for a credit card next year. I have been looking at a few application forms that i have been handed at the mall yesterday. It looks inviting and i already have a few things i want to buy using it, hahah! Will study it and check on the interest rates, payment schemes and maybe i will take the plunge and finally get my very own express pass to my must haves and wants! Yey!

I will have to seriously sit down on this and think which is the best way to go before i seriously (lol!) think of what i will buy! So excited!

Garage Treasure

When we were at the garage sale and people were dwindling i was able to go around the different booths and was able to get a sturdy and much needed door knob to replace the one in the kids room that i have been meaning to do but have not had the time to shop for one. Garage sales are really a haven for knick knacks that you usuallydon't find in malls and yet when you see it you actually need it. I was able to get a few self-help books from another seller and a cute bag from another one. I love browsing through stuff and best of all they were dirt cheap. Love it!

Smiling Sellers

My kids had a great time helping me out during our very first venture as sellers, tee hee! They were so excited to the point that if someone was just looking at the things they would hand me an empty plastic bag as if the person is already buying the item .. hahah!

They were very attentive and excited to help in any way they can. Bea on the other hand put on some music in our booth with her as she would say it in French, her portables, which means laptop. She is starting to like the Franch language and have been using a few words here and there ... good thing i took French classes as my foreign language in college, merci .. tee hee!

Garage Sale Mania

Just finished a very successful first time to participate in a garage sale last weekend. It was fun and tiring at the same time. I was able to earn from it and at the same time declutter! I have always wanted to let go of some of my things that we do not have a need for but do not have the heart to sell or give it away. Finally, i was able to do it! Yey me! Hahaha!

I could not believe that i could handle selling for an entire day that here i am fixing my things again for another garage sale event. Yup, you read it right! I will be joining a bazaar cum garage sale tomorrow. This was sort of spur of a moment decision, because i just found out yesterday that a weekend bazaar has been going on here in our village during weekends, so i made my inquiries and before i knew it i was signing up for a booth ... hahaha!

It will be another busy day tomorrow, so i have to finish up myh work on the net searching for recipes that i can teach my students and read on managed hosting for Christian. I love the internet and the access for everything we need to know at your fingertips.

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a good day .... don't need the rain to dampen the sale spirit.

Rooftop Clean Up

Had the much needed time to tidy up our rooftop attic and have a chance to open the boxes that has been in storage for some time. I bought new boxes to replace the ones that we have so this time we only keep the ones we really have a need for and the others stuff that we have been keeping for some time that we actually do not need ... finally dispose it. It is hard to sort through things but i must really set my mind to the task and finish it before the week ends. I was able to see my wedding dress again and memories flooded in (hahaha!) love my dress! I remember how i was the one who designed my bridesmaid dresses to suit their personalities, and they loved it too. Those were the kind that they can still wear even after my wedding, so no wasted dress. I loved the wedding preparations, i was never harassed ... smooth sailing all through the way. I loved that day!

Pork Free

Looks like i have suddenly dropped pork from my diet for almost one week now. Suprisingly, this is not because i am dieting. It just suddenly hit me that i have been passing on eating meat dishes and have been going for seafood and omelets. I am thinking it all started when a new wet and dry market opened shop just across our street. I think the sight of raw meat hanging on their stalls make me want to skip them during meals. Well i think this is a good change for me and this came naturally so i guess i won't feel that i am missing out on something since this came so natural.

Goodbye meat, see you ... not later.

Short Do

I had a haircut the other day and was suprised to hear Christian say that it suits me more than when my hair was long. He has always showed likeness to my long hair and whenever i ask him if i should have a haircut he would often say that he liked my long hair. But after my rebond that has signs of new growth i decided to chop my hair and sport a short hairstyle. I like the wash and wear of my new do, no more ironing, yey! He even said i looked younger (wink, wink) now i just need some fat burners to flatten my stomach to achieve the overall look, lol! I have to work on my appearance since i am now forty one (eep!) this year. Have to step up and shape up!

Lotto

The current jackpot of our lotto is six hundred eighty five million pesos!

I wonder what i will do if i get lucky .. hahah!

This is the biggest jackpot so far.

All i need is to get myself a ticket, lol!

Searching

I have ended my search finally on as to where to buy gold that Christian and i have agreed is a best and wise investment. After hours of searching i found the United States Gold Bureau as an authentic and reliable supplier of gold coins and bullion. I also found out that this is also a good place to get silver coins and ingots, you are assured of high quality pieces and that is very important since i will be investing our hard earned savings. I want to make sure that i am not getting into something blindly as it will be costly on our future and my childrens as well. So far so good, i have read a lot of good things and found it fool proof. So here we are ready to take the plunge to secure our future.

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have always gotten the habit of being thankful for the many blessings that i receive every single day. The very simple truth that i wake up every morning is enough reason for me to say my heartfelt thanks. I have been so blessed.

My biggest blessing is my family. My parents, my siblings, my husband and most especially my three children.

Thank you God!

Cyber

I love the internet!

I am counting my blessings that i belong to this generation where everything we want is right at our fingertips ... and fast! I have to admit that i once belonged to the typewriter era and the school library set-up whenever i needed something for a report in school. I have learned to master the card catalog but have yet to understand why some people don't know how to return books in their proper places. Those are the perils of my gradeschool and highschool life. But now everything and anything is available right at your very home, you get your subject or topic that interest you and just look for the words click here and you are on your way to your desired information. I marvel at technology and i do not take it for granted .... i am very thankful for it. My kids especially do not have to lug around big encyclopedias to school, just their laptop will suffice. I love this era!

Ouch

I have severe back pains ... and it is really killing me. :(

My age must be catching up on me sooner than i think ... hahaha!

Missed school today because of it.

Hope after a massage from my kids i will get better.

Delayed

I have been experiencing delayed deliveries of my text messages to my friends since yesterday. I don't know if my carrier is having problems that they are not telling us subscribers because when i called them to inquire about it they said they are not having any technical problems. It may be my phone crying out for a replacement then .. hahah! Kidding aside, it can really be frustrating when i am waiting for their reply and they don't, mainly because they have yet to receive my message abd it gets to them after a few hours ... aarrrgggh! I am now thinking of getting a wireless cell booster to hopefullu solve my problems since i cannit go on like this since i need replies to my texts fast especially if these are questions that i need answered like when i am in the mall and asking for specifics. I hope this dilemna of mine be resolved soon ... i am going bonkers!

Real Thing

Vin has been playing with his binocular toy for the past three days and will always bring it along wherever he goes. He loves playing "I spy!" game with his sisters especially when we are in the car. I sometimes would borrow it to take a peek and see yello stained glass and a few feet closer from the actual object i am looking at. I am now on the lookout for child friendly scopes for my tiny explorer, i am sure he will really be amazed on how things can get really close and clear once he gets to use the real thing. I have been searching the net for a light weight kind and that can withstand the accidental drops, tee hee!

I am sure he would love this!

Decorations Up

Gave my students some Christmas projects and they happily did it and that brought the whole classroom atmosphere fun. And today i told them to give themselves a round of applause because we successfully completed decorating their classrooms with their handmade projects. I can never feel more proud.

The classroom is more bright and makes my teaching them more enjoyable.

Love the Christmas spirit!

Ready

Bea and Sam has been getting some admiring looks from boys lately when we are out. I really have to come to terms that they will be admired and courted before i want it to happen. In as much as i want to prolong it and keep them away from it ... i can't. I have to support them and give them the assurance that they do not have to hide anything from me, i want them to feel that they have my trust and i will not be angry with them if the day does happen. I know that come this Valentine's Day they will be receiving sweet things not only from their papa but from other admirers as well. I welcome the change and i am proud that that my daughters have grown into beautiful individuals inside and out.

Cooling Down

Rainy days have started again and typhoons has been making its presence felt these past few weeks, so as soon as the sun showed its sunny rays ... the kids wanted to take a dip on the pool and enjoy the rays. I had to give in to make up for the many days they are kept indoors because of the rain. Kids are meant to be play outdoors and not cramped in a room infront of the computer and the play station. My kids know how to have fun!

Lay Offs

As i write my blog, do my facebook and answer my emails my tv is on and i am watching the news. There are a lot of good news, like an upcoming holiday on November 16 and just by hearing it my mind is already spinning thinking where to go to take advantage of this break. But sad news is the news that there are a lot of people who are lined up for retrenchment and lay offs before Christmas. I know there are a lot of familes to be affected by this and i pray that it does not hit them too hard.

Recovering

My friend's son is finally in rehab. It took a while before she really confronted the problem because of emotional issues. But now that he is undergoing sessions she is feeling a bit better and guilty feelings are carefully vanishing. I told her about opiate detox and how it can effectively flush out toxins that are in his body and the same time done effectively and safely. The last thing that we need is to make his sessions traumatic and tiring for him. Hopefully, in due time he will come out a renewed person, he deserves a second chance, let us help him heal. I am praying for his continued recovery.

Ready and Excited

Watching the news now and these words were said by Manny Pacquiao when asked about the fight with Margarito on Sunday. Everyone will be still on this memorable day, boxing fan or not. I am excited as well to watch!

Lookout

I am on the lookout for thebest diet pills for women and really have to keep my weight in check. My metabolism is slowing down and my tummy is making everyone notice it, lol! I am really keeping things real and if i don't accept the fact that i have to work on it i won't be able to get rid of it. So heres to making my stomach non existent before the Christmas dinners come in! Tee hee!

Lads

Vin's favorite cousin is my brother's son, Anton. I really love watching them play together and bond like brothers. Since Vin is our only boy, Anton is also his only boy cousin, so you can imagine the games they play as soon as they see each other. Anton is three years older and is very patient and understanding of Vin.

Love this boy bonding!

Night Frenzy

This image is the one keeping me up at night! Yup, the farm mania has caught up on me and i play till the wee hours of the morning. Christian is hooked as well and he stays up with me playing on the desktop while i burn the midnight oil here on my laptop.

Hahahah!!

Frenzied!

Control

My co-teacher and were talking during recess time while enjoying newly steamed dumplings that she wanted to somehow master appetite control, i told her it is possible, nowadays nothing is impossible. She told me she recently started the six o' clock diet and is sometimes she wakes up at night feeling hungry, and is later heading to the fridge for a quick snack. Goodbye diet. She actually consumed eight dumplings while we were talking, while i had three and was already full, but i was taking softdrinks so maybe that filled me up right away. I know she can do it ... willpower is needed indeed.

Girls Knack

My girls are growing by the minute, i can hardly keep up! Now they have actually graduated from shopping at the kids department to the misses clothing and boy do they have strong fashion sense! I wonder where they got that, hahaha! I am a tee and jeans kind of girl and Christian is a whatever is there kind of dresser. Must be their tween age that rules here! I really am amazed how they can mix and match pieces with ease, looks like i am in for a major suprise in the very near future! Love their style!

Paul

Paul the psychic octopus has passed.

I heard it on the news.

His caretakers were devastated the newsperson said. But not to worry though, they are already grooming its successor who will be named Paul too.

I wonder, how do you train a psychic octopus?

Hmmmm.

Mall Time

Yes, i love those words!

Hahahah!

Scheduled a mall trip tomorrow morning, and this time this trip is for me. Yey me!

I will have a facial to repleneish my tired skin (over acting here) get some acne treatment that works and replenish my night cream.

Vacation time is about to end and we will be heading back to school next week, so i have to make the most of this vacation and pamper myself (tee hee) before hard work begins (over acting number two). Don't get me wrong, i love teaching, its the preparing for the lesson plans and keeping my active students interested is the tricky part.

Tomorrow is skin day ... so there is so many things to look forward to.

Breathless

It did not rain on their awaited soccer practice. It was sunny for a while then the sun hid itself (to my advantage) to give the players a cool breeze. They played for three hours and had fun passing the ball around.

It was funny that only after five minutes they all went back to the bench where i was and asked for water and said they are already tired. Shape up! Hahahah!

Too much computer games can do this to you.

Told them to stretch and run around the field, and they did. They really enjoyed themeselves and Choconut had a great time prancing around the grass.

We were all tired and when i saw that there is a possibility that it would rain, i announced a last ten minute play time and we all headed home.

We passed by a convenience store first for some popsicles and taked out hotdog sandwiches before walking home.

Tiring .. but happy.

They are now scheduling a next practice in a few days ... uh-oh. :)

Soccer Practice

Bea has been asking me if we could go to the park so she and her friends can have soccer practice.

Today is the day.

It was raining hard yesterday, so hopefully it does not rain this afternoon as she already called her friends three days ago for this field activity. I got her a soccerball last weekend and is so excited to use it. Got her some goalie gloves also to complete the look, lol!

We will bring our little doggie too so she can have her little walk. Hope no rain today.

New Arrival

Our neighbor gave birth yesterday ... a little girl. She is so cute! We went to visit last night and she was one if not the cutest in the nursery. She was sleeping so soundly. I remember my girls when they were infants, how fragile they looked. Christian would always video them when they were in the nursery and just show them to me since i could not walk yet to the nursery and i wanted to see them all the time. Friends and relatives all came as well to visit me and the newest miracle and we would have a little something for our visitors. Before we checked in for the C-section i already had small tokens and baby thank you cards for our well-wishers to bring home after their visit. A new mama can never be prouder of every new addition to the family.

I love the sound of an infant crying ... and i am sure i will be hearing a lot of those in a few days when they bring home their little princess.

Wish List

I told Christian my plan about jumpstarting my Christmas shopping and he casually asked me what i wanted. Of course, i said ... "nothing, really."

It was half true.

I really do not want anything as of the moment.

But upon thinking hard ... hahaha ... okay i want something ... it turns out... tee hee!

I want an Ipad.

Yup, the craze has gotten into me, i want the versatility and slim looking tablet while i browse the net, visit my facebook and write my emails. So i wonder, will Christian ask me again? Will i say i want an Ipad out loud? I guess not.

I wonder if Santa will give me one. :)

Its Official

Christmas shopping is officially open!

I have started taking out my list, checked it twice (tee hee!) and have jotted down a few things i know my special recipients will love. Now i on the seach for some magical online coupons (hehehe!) that can save me a gazillion, and that i could use! Shopping is really fun, its actually therapeutic, but what makes it more fun and worthwhile is you get to save some moolah while getting something that you know someone will like and the money you save can buy another gift ... fun right? Wise spending is cool savings!

I know what my kids will like ... can't wait to get it for them before stocks dwindle as Christmas nears. Hold on Santa i am on the race with you! Hohohoh!

Shopping Alert

Was in the mall last weekend and even if Halloween has yet to happen the shopping windows are brimmed with Christmas trimmings. There are already a lot of pre-Christmas sale, beat the holiday rush kind of thinking .. hahaha! Of course, i am so tempted to buy! But i still have no money for Christmas shopping just yet, i wonder if i could get a cash advance and get my holiday shopping a headstart. Nice idea! I am actually getting excited just thinking about it. I will start looking around now, so if i do push through with my plan i know exactly where and what to get. Kaching-kaching is on the way!

Back To Square One

Here i am again, back to starting point.

Just when i thought i was way over pms, teenage acne and crushes ... here i am experiencing it all over again. Don't get me wrong ... not ME, but me in my tweeners life. I have started teaching my girls the proper way of washing their faces with the soap i got for them. The pms has not yet really started but i have sort of not told them that it was normal to have stomach cramps, thinking maybe that if i don't tell them about it they will not even experience it .. lol. So far, so good .... no stomach cramps yet, and Bea has been having her period for a year now while Sam has started four months ago. We are still in the clear when cramps are concerned ... whew.

I hope they never get to experience this discomfort in the future. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Vin Pals

Since Vin started school he has been building good bonds. Here are a few of his friends from the Linggo ng Wika presentation. I remember in Facebook i still remember with clarity my best friebds in gradeschool, so i am sure Vin will still remember them after so many years. I know memories of childhood will always remain even if some of your buddies lose weight quickly and emerge into a new person ... the memories, happy times and fun moments will always remain. Here's to friendship!

Stomach In

I always catch a silhouette of my sideview whenever i pass shop windows and i really do not like what i see ... sob. sniff. My stomach is really bulging. I don't know if its because i have a horrible posture that i have to seriously correct before its too late or i need to get hold of diet pills that work before anyone mistakes me for a pregnant woman. I have been havinf back pains lately and i have it even if i just got up from bed in the morning. I am thinking maybe i got squished during sleep, but the pain is sometime intolerable that i have to pop a pain reliever to get me up on my feet. I really have o work on my posture as soon as i can, looks like i need glasses of milk for calcium supplements for my aching bones. Oldie! Hahaha!

Sam At Ten

Sam is now TEN!

Time sure flies when you are having fun!

Suddenly, i am amazed to how my kids grow up so fast. Here i am trying to make sure that they make the most of their childhood. Planning numerous activities for them, because in as much as i try to stop time they will grow up and won't be able to enjoy simple pleasures of a happy childhood. I try to take them to different places, try different food and different experiences. With all the food we are trying out i am slowly but surely gaining weight since i feel my metabolism is slowing down, surely i will be reaching out for some crash diets that work for my aging body, lol!

But diets should be safely done of course, i will never compensate my health, since my children are relying on me.

Happy Birthday my Sammie Girl!
