Another Good Buy

This one of the nice cool things i got online .. a Bratz Board game that Bea and Sam would surely enjoy! They have to get their bratz head dolled up (complete with make-up and stickers!) to win the game. I am sure they will have hours of fun playing! This will be one of Bea's gifts for her birthday (march 14) still a long way to go but i am already stocking up on gifts for my fast growing eleven year old to be. How time flies!

To date i know have six presents for her! Would love to see her eyes light up with her presents!

These are my treasures ... the reason why I AM A MOM ... the reasons why i will never exchange anything in the entire world ... my children are my miracles why i have evolved from a girl now to mom in just a short time. Being a mom has no boundaries really ... it surpasses everything, this is i guess the only thing that can never be measured and compared with anthing else.

We can all be Moms ... but we will hold the title :"The Best Mom" in the eyes and hearts of our children ... let us all cherish that title and take care of it all our life!

So happy to be a MOM! I love it!

I can't believe the online shopping bug can actually bite me ... and bite it did!

I have been spending hours looking at different things and am totally amazed that anything under the sun can be bought online! How convenient! A single stroke of the keyboard will place my order and in just a short wait my goods are here! Yey!

I have purchased so many things already and will try and post them here as they come in. I am now excitedly looking at kitchen wares, great discount bath fixtures, and some bedroom pieces to jumpstart our summer renovation. So excited!

My papa, Jose Mari Avellana bagged the "Outstanding Male Lead Performance In A Play" for his riveting performance as 'Morrie' in the successful run last year of Repertory's "Tuesdays with Morrie" and was awarded at the recently concluded Philstage's Gawad Buhay Awards Night 2009 at the CCP.

Everybody agreed that HE was indeed the best!

The theater thundered with applause even when his name was being announced as one of the nominees.

So proud!

This is one of the many things he does best ... his love for the theatre will always be with him!

Biking Boy

Weekend spells waveboarding and sccoter activities for the kids ... but this time Vin requested if he could bring his bike instead ... so that we did. He had a great time biking around till it became dark while the girls waveboarded and Christian and i munching on Crispy Kreme doughnuts and milkshakes from Brothers Burgers.

While sitting there and munching away we saw my friend's sister and was surprised to see me with three active kids .. hahaha! She told me that i looked good as i added some pounds, and Christian was lean and she said he looked good too. She insisted to know what weight loss products Christian was taking, so she can give it to her husband as well. She really liked the new Christian, who by the way is still pressured by me to pick up weights and do some serious weight lifting .. hehehe! I would love to see Christian with all the muscles ... his never ending promise to me is ... "yes, i will do it ... soon!"

How "soon"is "soon"? lol!

Tiny Party Girls

Found this picture while i was saving my photos on dvds for safekeeping. Bea, Sam and my sister Loren in a children's party. Look at the two party girls, they are so small ... how time flies ... but some things never change ... they are still active party gals!

Good

So happy with the grades of Bea and Sam ... all their grades in all their subjects were higher han last quarter ... yey! I am really so proud of them especially since they don't take studying a chore. Brought them to the mall after we got their grades and let them play at the playground (their favorite), then had some yummy pizza and strawberry milkshakes and headed to the pet shop to look at pet beds for our little rabbits and also canvassing for a present for my mom's doggie Panda who will be celebrating his birthday this month. It was a fulfilling day, good grades and a fun activity day for the kids ..perfect!

Grades Later

Will be picking up Bea and Sam in school this afternoon, they will be out early as they will only attend the First Friday Mass and just have some practice today. Schedule of release of report cards are later at 2:00 pm so i will be getting it as well.

I have no problems with their grades (a far cry when it was MY report card in the olden days! hahaha!) they are good students and manage to bring home high grades. I don't push them so hard to get the coveted digits though, i just want them to have a good time in school and be there to learn and not be terrorized ... since they have this kind of attitude towards school, good grades just come naturally.

Sam by the way requested that when i pick her up later to pass by the store and buy her some banana-que ... hehehe! Food really occupies her mind! So, the itinerary is school ... store for the treat .. home .. i have tons of work to do (household and design ...hehe) but what the heck, it's friday! My favorite day of the weekday .... though Saturdays still rocks!

Nearing Summer

School will almost be over in less than two months!

Bea and Sam's school just sent me a change of school mschedules for the coming activities and their fourth quarter final exams will be on March 12 and 13. Thats just a month and a half away. Their graduartion and recognition rites will be on the 20th of March.

Sure is fast!

Summer is almost here .. i can feel it! Hehehhe!

Will be having time now to look at renovations in the house, am looking at ball lock pins available and other things that we will be needig to replace and upgrade our abode. Hopefully we finish everythin summer time before rainy season sets in.

Yey, Summer is near!
