Business Card

This is my new calling card ... made it yesterday. I initially made it as a header for my design site then i thought it to be a signature image na din .. kaya conceptualized it into a business card.

I still have to study on how to affix this image ( minus the contact details ) and use this as my header .. the CSS codes can really get the best of me .. hehehe!

Cooking Time

The girls came home today and in their diaries it said that they have to bring food (any viand) to share for their program on friday. Since this is a time to show off my culinary expertise ( hehehe) having been a hotel and restaurant management graduate and had a lot of training in the kitchen arena i still went and consulted tried and tested recipes, would want my girls to be proud of what they will bring. Pressure ... lol!

Country Side Pals

Took Sam's picture wearing her Filipiniana Costume so we could show it to Christian ... Vin naman kept on getting the cloth for the shoulder and kept on wrapping it around him ... hehehhe, kaya Christian made an impromptu Igorot costume .. lol!

I put them together in this countryside background .. so they will remember this happy shot!

Teenagers Soon

Finally was able to buy Filipiniana inspired clothes for my two girls last night, after scouring all the malls for the best looking and reasonable priced since it will only be used once. Mommy duties!

We went to the fitting room and when they were out of the dressing room i marveled on how big they look with the clothes. I know in just a few months i will be looking for best acne treatment for them as they grow up really fast! I will be having my first taste of teenage worries sooner that i expected it!

Relax In Style

Bought a couple of dvd movies over the weekend and am scheduling a time for me to sit back and relax and yes watch a movie ... hahah!Watching movies have become a real treat for me because of all the hectic schedule everyday really can be chaotic and sitting down for a few hours sure is a luxurious time for me.

Just take a look at these discount home theater seating .... yup, you read it right, they are discounted now! I sure would feel so relaxed on those chairs while watching my movies. Relaxation at it's finest!

American Idol reveals a fourth judge!

Was surfing articles when i came across this ... hmmm, sounds interesting. Have been glued to Idol for 2 seasons so am looking forward to this new addition. Hope they strike up some kind of chemistry!

But Kara DioGuardi, the newly-installed fourth judge on "American Idol," is confident she'll find her niche within the bickering, ratings-tested judges' panel where the line between love and hate is blurred with every critique.

"I'm just gonna speak to Simon the way I speak to everybody," DioGuardi told reporters during a teleconference Monday. "I'm just gonna have my opinion, be honest and I don't foresee any problems. I'm really excited about this, and up for the challenge."

The Grammy-nominated songwriter will make her debut when the eighth season of "Idol" premieres in January, the Fox network said Monday.

"It's really flattering too, you know, to think that ('Idol') even thought about me," she said. "I mean, when I got the call, I thought they were calling the wrong person. So I'm the new kid on the block, and I'm hoping everyone's gonna go easy on me — and that I bring a lot to the table."

It's not yet clear how ties will be broken in the audition process — in past seasons, two out of three judges had to agree to advance aspiring pop stars to the Hollywood round. And something will have to give during the telecast that barely has enough time to fit in three judges' opinions.

DioGuardi, now the youngest "Idol" judge at 37, said she leads a "low-key" life. In that case, she'd do well to prepare for the instant celebrity that comes with appearing on the most popular — and lucrative — reality show on television.

Rare Saturday

Yesterday was one rare Saturday ... i stayed home! Hahaha!

My weekends are usually jampacked ... but decided to let Christian do all the meetups for the delivery ... rescheduled meetups with new clients today and tomorrow. I wanted to give the kids the pleasure of sleeping in ... the exam week sure was a heavy load for my little ones ( especially for me .. lol!)

I actually had time to spruce up my design site!


Hopefully i get another chance to make a nice header before the long weekend is over!

Back To Basics

Lately Vin is starting to wet the bed again and he has been toilet trained for more than two years now. I have to think it is because of all the energy he uses the entire day that leaves him no control as soon as he hits the sack.

Now when we go to the grocery he gets surprised when i reach over and get disposable diapers and put it in our cart! I just tell him it is for my friend and not for him because he is already a big boy ... hahaha!

Mermaid Beauty

Saw this on the news ... excitedly i searched the net for it! Here is Julianne Moore and swimming star Michael Phelps posed in this LITTLE MERMAID-inspired shoot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz for VANITY FAIR magazine. (Remember Annie and her controversial photos of Miley Cyrus?) Michael and Julianne were all praises for this famous photographer.

If only i could look half as good as Julianne in my swimsuits, i would consider doing this pose as well ... hahaha!

Continuing the "Disney Dream Portrait Series" that has put stars in all kinds of Disney fantasies, Leibovitz trained her famous lens this time on the undersea world of Ariel, heroine of "The Little Mermaid." To get there, she dressed actress Julianne Moore and American swimming icon Michael Phelps in tails and scales.

"Yes, Julianne has a big mermaid tail; it's interesting," Leibovitz recalled from the shoot. "Michael, too. His movements were so graceful and beautiful you just felt like you were watching a real merman."

Biting Off More Than I Can Chew

I recently applied for an online job (which still keeps me home to tend to the kids) and had got me thinking if i can juggle all the duties or am i on the verge of spreading myself too thin?

I have my design business which is getting stronger and am having regular clients overseas ... aside from my clients here ... i am not complaining ... business has never been better!

My kids are growing by the minute and the assignments they bring home is enough to take me back to the past with all the math problems ... hahaha!

Vin is getting all his energy replenished everyday and you can see me work on the computer while playing catch, domino even play station at the same time.

But this new venture is something that i do not want to pass up as it could really bring me additional income while having the luxury of staying at home.

I have promised myself not to shortchange any of my roles as every role i play must be given my 100% attention.

Here's to me as i turn a year older and embark on another task!

Impossible Dream No More

Michael Phelps did it!

Just like my little mouse friend in my other post ... he was able to achieve something that seemed to be impossible for others. If you believe and give it your all .. you will get what you deserve.

He has broken the record with eight gold medals!

Was never a olympics fan .. but since Christian always watches it nahawa na din ako .. hehehe! Now i am the one giving Christian the latest updates because he is in the office while i am always online .. and take note i email it to him complete with photos to boot!

Upgrades Coming Up

My computer is really crying out for help! Hahaha!

I have downloaded more than it can handle and now that i am embarking on another career (wink! wink!)and will make full use of the computer more, plus my designs and templates ... my computer really has the right to shriek and complain.

So the only solution is to upgrade ... first on the list is to get a higher processor and to increase the memory for it to withstand all the new data that will be coming in the days to come. I am excited with this new venture! I actually downloaded a lot already that is why i know my computer is taking the heap .. so tomorrow i will start with the upgrades since Christian is here (holiday!) to help me decide. I can really be sidetracked easily, i neede someone focused .. hahaha!

Maze Mouse

I have been a strong believer of the popular saying .. "if there is a will, there is a way" ... just look at this smart mouse .. hahaha!

No amount of blockage can stop him to reach his goal .. the fastest way to the exit! Just like us, no matter what hurdles or trials .. if we go above it we can get to where we want to go .. just believe and chew yourself through it .. you will get there!

Hope this lil rodent never visits our house, lol!

We are always online .. and the things we find is really something .. sometimes even priceless. We get on the latest news and other happenings that have not even hit the boob tube.

Was searching for affordable treadmills and chanced upon an internet exclusive sale (Available only online!) today! It slashes half the price off .. what a find!

There really is so much the internet has to offer you just have to have a keen eye and know where to look and believe me there is a bountiful of things you can get online! Happy treasure hunting!

The latest issue of OK Magazine has the "new" Brit on the covers looking loke a real mommy .. a first! She wishes her boys Sean Preston and Jayden James to avoid showbiz, and hopes they have a "normal childhood."

This is called a lucky day by many ... it is also the opening of the Beijing Olympics and so many monumental things are happening today!

I remember with my pregnancy with Vin i was set to give birth via scheduled cesarean April 04, 2004 (040404) .. hay! But things happen for a reason.

But all the same ... things were still in control .. this time it was God who was steering .. so how can you go wrong?

Relaxing Facial

A facial is something i really look forward to every month. No matter how busy my schedule gets, with housework, school time, kids and designs ... i really squeeze in time for my facial, my time for myself.

The spa was full at the time i came, i was put on waiting, turned out there were three more ahead of me but all the same i said i would wait. Out of the three clients ahead of me two of them were were there for acne treatments and i heard them talk on how effective the treatments were for them. Just like them i take caring of my skin seriously.

Welcoming Baby

My good friend just gave birth to a bouncing little boy, could not be happier for her, especially she already has three girls ... and the little boy sure is a welcome addition to their brood.

Was looking around for unique baby gifts since she already has three kids i want something really special, something that she doesn't have yet. I really like this blue boy sports inspired basket, i know she will be thrilled with this one of a kind collection!

Eyeing a New Toy, for the Big Boy

Went to the mall yesterday to buy PS2 controllers for the third time ... seems it always conks out on us no matter how careful we play with it. usually one controller at a time dies on us, but this time around both went dead at the same time. So really had no choice but to replace both controllers or leave the PS2 useless.

When i was looking around the xbox 360 really caught me eye, looking so smart. I know Christian would enjoy this new toy, the kids can have the PS2 while Christian can have this for himself. Everybody happy!

So proud of myself .. was able to download to my hard drive all my pictures from the website, kasi there has been talk that some of the multiply users are having trouble signing in ... praning mode seeped in ... kaya stopped my design work this morning and took care of downloading the pictures (kasi the design there yung mga high resolution copies nila are on different cds na kaya really hard to retrieve them, unlike sa multiply i was able to save them per folder and in lo res) will try to put it on flickr or something, yung mabilis magload sa blog.

Have a full load of designs din .. but since weekend naman, i have all the time for my meet up and night time to do my designs.

Yey! Time management na ito! Plus kids are home from school na (half day kasi first friday mass) kaya may kalaro na si Vin ...hahaha!
