Pizza Time

My two girls really enjoy joining workshops, activities and ako naman "the official alalay" see how they have mastered interacting with others and how they are growing and building their character through different activities and with different people. I have often heard other parents tell me na "nakaktuwa mga kids mo, di sila gaanong mahiyain chaka marunong makipagusap", and that i feel they get from being with other people and socializing. Feeling ko these are traits na dapat madevelop sa kanila while they are still young, and these are things we cannot teach, thay have to come out of their shells on their own and know what they can do.

Naku serious ba post ko? Di ata bagay sa aking aura..heheh! Wala lang, senti lang ako kasi lumalaki na sila and i just pray that i have guided them well enough for them to face life as they grow older. Minsan mga simplengs sali-sali sa mga games will really help their self-confidence at self-worth, yung feeling na natatalo sa mga games, dapat inaassure sila "okay lang if you did not win, you had fun, and that's what games are for really, winning is just icing on the cake" ika nga. But one thing that i have seen in parties na pinupuntahan namin... mga parents na pinipilit mga kids nila sumali sa games pero ayaw nila, minsan di naman nila gaano kakilala mga bata dun then pinipilit nila, nawawala ang element of FUN .. before ganun ako, then naisip ko kawawa naman eh ayaw eh, kaya ngayon i don't ask them to join, sila na mismo nagsasabi ng "Mama, can i join that game?" or "Mama, i dont want to join that game, i dont like to say hhaaappppyyybbiiirrthhhddaayyy long"..hehhehe! Ako naman, sure, tapos palakpak palakpak ako sa mga kasali, kaya siguro naawa sila sa akin, pumapalakpak na mukhang #?@#, kaya sasabihin nila "Mama, we will join the next game, okay?" ...heheheh, siguro para matigil lang ako! :P

So anyway, naiba tuloy ang topic ko ... hehehe ....was in the mall when i saw a sign na pizza making camp at greenwhich. kaya eto na naman ako ask sa aking mga bossing "You want to join pizza making camp?", shempre walang hinihindian ang aking dalawang activity girls, kaya ayun join kami, ayyy SILA lang pala. :)

They were given aprons, hairnet and were lectured a little about cleanliness and food handling. Then they were given doughs where they put their sauce, and toppings (ham and mushroom), tapos they all marched sa kitchen and lagay sa oven and in mga 3minutes, they got their pizza na.
Kasama sa binayaran for the camp ang snack, so after mag-gawa-gawa ng pizza, they were served spaghetti, ice cream on waffle and drink. After eating giving of certificates na ... kaya i have two full-pledged pizza makers in the house! Kakagutom, maka-order nga ng pizza! hehehe!
