My better half :)

I am so excited that Christian will have a two day break (plus weekend, that makes 4 days!) to stay home with us. He leaves kasi very early everyday and comes home late na, not much time for him to rest, our weekends kasi are ultra busy as these are the days i schedule meetups for order deliveries and meetings.

I am lucky talaga kasi Christian really supports me in my biz, he does not mind that i ask him to go to many places after (and even during work) to get me things i need, use his office as a pick up point for orders and giving of cds and ask him to stay longer if my clients are running late minsan. He know more of my clients nga more than me as he is always the one who meets up with them.

When i am working naman sa computer and the kiddies wants to play, i see him exerting effort to divert their attention. Pag nagpupuyat naman ako he would always say "Wake me up if you like me to prepare you something to eat ha" ... wala na akong masasabi pa.

La lang just wanted to blog about how happy i am na mabait si Christian and i can he see he really is proud of what i am doing (lalo na sa office nila kung ipagmayabang ako dun ... heheh!) yun lang, feeling happy lang...hmmm... teka makagawa nga mga opps sa ppp ...hehhee ... :p

I forgot pala to share na 10 years na kaming married! One time nga scascan ko wedding pics namin post ko dito para makita niyo kung malaki ba ang pinag-iba namin after 10 years!

Halloween part2

My two girls joined the McDonald's Halloween Fun Day a day after Globe's Trick or Treat (so walang laundry day for the costumes ...lol!) and am glad that they joined as they enjoyed it very much. We woke early as the party was for 10:00am, so in other words kami ang nagbukas ng mall, both of them were thrilled since they were the very first people to go in and they were eagerly greeted by the sales personnel at the door (they are so used to seeing the same personnel saying goodnight to them, kasi madalas closers kami..hehehe!)

They were surprised to see their classmates there too, kaya mas enjoy sila kasi kakilala na nila kaagad. Did not bring Vin this time as he was still sleeping, sumunod na lang sila ni Christian at around 12:00 for lunch. They had parlor games and paraded around the mall wearing their costumes, waving to the shoppers. As always ako andun naksunod with our bags (hay, kelan ba mawawakasan itong mga bags na ito! hahah!)

May trick or treat uli sa village namin sa 31, pero baka pass na muna, pagod na ako, plus have to go through a lot of candies pa! Happy Halloween to all!

Hay, lapit na Christmas!!! Cool na ng air! Good para save on aircon..hahaha!

Happy Halloween!

Had our yearly Trick or Treat activity in Christian's office, and this time i had three eager participants! Days before the event Christian told me that the organizer requested Bea to lead the opening prayers, coincidentally Bea is dressed up ans an angel (tried to make them dress up scarier, but to no avail) heheheh!

So Bea came as an angel, Sam as a blue fairy princess and Vin as a red Power Ranger ... and all was happy! We were the orange team and together with the others visited different offices (8 stations all in all) and had themes like Alladin, Cindrella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Lilo and Stitch, Snow White (who danced the "papaya" with the seven dwarfs), Hercules, Hunchback of Notre Dame and i forgot the other one ..heheh!

They had their bags full of candies and chocolates and can last them till Christmas (am still eating them now), they are not much into candies they just like the activity, so Christian and i have a fair share in the loot!

After that we all went to the podium area where there was magic and food! Ate Spaghetti and Chicken, but we decided to bring it to Christian's work area so we can eat properly (and i had to make a few phone calls...hehhee!) but before hiding we got cotton candies first. Here are pictures of the three tired trick or treaters :)

Living Rosary

Last friday marked the last day of Bea and Sam for school before semestral break, they had a finale program celebrating the Marian Month of the Holy Rosary. Was so proud and happy to see my two girls part of the living rosary which makes my praying it more meaningful. I remember during my St Scho days we always had living rosaries but i don't remember being part of it, meaning that i was a bead in the rosary ...heheh!

My two girls were side by side waiting for their turn to light their candles to complete the rosary. There i was on the bleachers teary-eyed and drinking water, i did not bring Vin as we would be going to Christan's office afterwards for a trick or treat event, so i let Vin go to the office with his papa ahead of us. After the rosary they had three more songs to do where they changed into jeans and shirts (here i am again with our many bags...haha!)

When they were done and it was time for some small eating time, we left right right away as we did not want to belate for the trick or treat festivities, because Bea was asked to lead the opening prayers for th event. :)

Halloween at Papa's office

Can't wait for the three kiddies to go trick or treating in Christian's office. How time flies, before si Bea lang, then Sam joined in, now THREE na sila! :) Will post pictures soon!

Friendly Site Award

This friendly site award was given to me by my egroup friend Jade, thanks Jade!

Just like what Jade said in her blog, having a blog at first was not really meant to gain friends but to document everyday things, making friends just came naturally since we all love to blog hop and see what is going on in their little corner of the world. And having a blog and having tons of good friends make it more rewarding! Here's to good friends!

Am passing this award to good friends kathy and mitch

My reviews

Paid Blogging is really a venue for us to earn while learning, i look at the sites that needs to be reviewed and study it first before i give my honest opinion about it. I will not say anything just because we are getting compensated for it as i do not want to confuse or deceive my readers (mostly good friends) with what i am blogging about. :)

So here is an assurance that it is still ME who is blogging with everyday things. Drop by as often as you want and i will also bloghop to your sites! Leave me a message on the cbox or comments box so i will know that you have been here. :)

Blogging is fun!

Finally i have found an outlet where i can just say anything that goes around in my life and yet still be heard.A chance to touch each others lives even when we are far away from each other. I noticed that we exchange links with new bloghoppers and eventually become good friends as we get to know what is important to that person by just reading their blogs.Something trivial to us could be an important event for another. I just love blogging and going through other people's blogs and see what rocks their boats!

Cool mom award

Got a cool mom award from an equally cool mom Jody

Funny but really to be called a "cool mom" is quite an achievement given the fact that things are really always not cool ...hehhee ... things can really be hot, but it's the job of a "cool mom" to remain cool and live up to the title ..hehe!

Am passing on this "cool ...brrr" award to cooler moms like kitty, jade and jacqui all cool mommas!

Tagged query naman

Tagged with a question by kathy : What Occasion would you most prefer, Christmas or New Year?

I like both events, but faced with the question on which i like better i would have to say "I LOVE CHRISTMAS!" hands-down! I just love giving out presents (honestly, the saying "its better to give than receive" holds water for me!) Maybe if you become a mom and veer away from what YOU like and are more interested on what your children will like is the key why i chose the former.

I have very happy memories of Christmases when i was still small and hope that i pass them on to my three kids, the warmth of being together as a family on this very special day!

Wow, i feel the Christmas rush already, am starting to buy presents for the little ones so they can be really busy on Christmas eve!

Merry Christmas! :)

Thanks Kathy for the tag :)

One day without a computer :(

It was a typical shutdown process, as it was already time to have dinner ... so there i was pressing the same old buttons that led to the silenting of my montior. No fuss. No worries.

After eating, with my head swimming with ideas for layouts as i am about to start three digital storybooks (with three different themes) but equally excited to make them ... i switch on the ever dependable AVR, my start button and waited ... took a peculiar longer time to load ... hmmmm... i waited .... then was taking a little more time .... quite anxious now as i had a lot of finished layouts ready to be sent out for tarpaulin printing the next day ... then the screen went BLACK ... and number selections came asking me if i wanted to be logged in on a SAFE MODE? ... what was that??!! But of course i wanted to BE LOGGED IN any way possible!

I pressed the button "3" ... and it went black and the message "it is now safe to turn off your computer." ... whatthe!!!

With panic on my fingers i did the whole process again ... but this time there was a message that something could not finish loading, interrupted or something... i wanted to black out .. had soooo many files, let alone the deadlines that i had to do, since it was approaching the weekend where i schedule the meet-ups, having this disruption would prove hazardous (Bordering OA na ba??!!) hay!!!

Sige, with the assurance (AKA panguuto ni Christian na everything will be okay tomorrow) i let it rest and hope that all will be okay tomorrow morning.

So i slept earlier than usual ... woke up earlier than usual ..hehehe... but to my dismay ganun pa din!!!! :(

Okay panic seeped in! Asked Christian to load another windows for me, causing him o be late for work ... pero di tumutuloy yung installation! So he left for work na nakisamangot pa din ako.

I called the computer technician, looked for one na malapit lang sa house para sure that they can come asap! Found one naman right away, so scheduled a home service after lunch.

The guy who came was medyo old na (alam mo yun i was kinda expecting young lang na mahilig sa computer and so on) and he did not know a thing about hardwares, i think alam lang niya mag reformat, so in other words it took him the whole afternoon to reformat the computer with my help ... no choice na eh! I was nakabantay the whole time, literally breathing on his neck, kasi may mga dapat ako na mga files na i-save nilalaktawan niya, then he was always saying "ang dami namang files...etc..." and parang nagtatawag ng lizards kaka-buntung hininga! He was nice naman as i was chika chika him, ignoring his sighs and reklamo, even asking me kung important pa raw ba yung particular file kasi medyo pagod na siya. Gave him merienda twice!

He left me with no drivers for my modem and printer, ako pa nag-supply ng ATI driver ... but anyway here i am trying to build my files, tapos feeling ko ang laki ng binagal ng computer ko!!! I need a new one!!!!

Kaya if you would notice i have not logged in at YM dahil i have not yet downloaded the messenger.
Nataon din aksi exams ng two girls ko kaya review din kami. But hopefully in due time i can normalize everything soon!

I am just thankful na at least nakakanet na ako! :)

Got to attend to my opps!! hehehe!

My third treat :)

Hmmm.... parang ang charm ko ay pang-halloween ah! hehehe!
Can't wait to go trick or treating ... will have our first one on Friday (oct 26!) :)

passing this treat to leah and joy :)

Totally Fab!

Wow! I feel fabulous with this award from erika, thanks!

Shempre i want to pass on the fab feeling to deserving fab friends andrea, dzoi and rubai

On-line Fashion Shopping Fun

Going out nowadays to shop for yourself poses to be a challenge, especially to me who has three kids who just love the malls and would scamper about as soon as we reach the stores. I have had many instances where i have found an item that i wanted and was still going through the racks when i can hear the kids talking amongst themselves asking when this will be over, i really feel their energy to go and find things that will interest them, and boutiques are really not their idea of fun.

Happy to have discovered an different kind of on-line fashion boutique where i can leisurely browse through the selections of clothes line like vince sweaters, paige jeans and even diesel jackets branded clothes that are really my favorites.

Tobi online fashion boutique also has a place where i can post my purchases for others to see and comment on, share fashion ideas and tips with other fashion shoppers like me. What amazes me is that there is even an on-line customer care representative to help you out, may it be in fashion tips, clothes selection and later on will know your preferences for fashion and style and just entering the site will be like going to your own shopping mall in the very confines of your home any time of the day!

My kids can have their enjoyment in the malls whenever we go out as i do not need to go to attend to my fashion needs there now that i have discovered Tobi.

Flying high with this Award :)

The coveted Egel Nest Blog Award has landed on my blog, thanks to Mhay

Brad Egel originally created this award and started the egg rolling to pass the love around!

Am passing it on as it can hatch on Arlene, Kathy and Dauphine

Overrated things tag

After 100 years makakarespond na din sa playtime ng blogging ang "Tag you're IT!"

Tagged by kitty

Overrated things daw.... okay, like what she said these are my two cents worth only, it does not represent the consensus of the entire populace ..hahaha!

Not in order as it would take me another 100 years to rank them ... so anyway here goes ...

havaianas - (too pricey for my taste buds, can't find much logic and to think these same things are available locally at our friendly wet market (baduy ko ba?)Pero one time i chanced upon a "design your own havaianas at Rockwell, nagandahan naman ako, kasi nga you can customize it, if only for that pwede pa sa price na yun, pero ready made na ... hmmm.. overrated! hahaha!

crocs - escalator hazard especially to kids, looks funny pa, but there are ones from the barbie line that looks better, but safety wise i have yet to decide on, pero cute yung sa barbie.

politics - arrgghhh!!

impeachment - another arrrgghh!! with a little grrrr!!

actors/actresses commercial endorsements - but what the heck if its giving the local market sales boosts then go ahead

boxing matches - never was a fan of the violent sport and will never be.

Wow, that's just from the top of my head ... hehehe!

I am now tagging my two teachers on paid blogging jane and peachy

Let's eat healthy!

We all want to remain healthy until we grow old right? Christian and I are trying hard to eat the right kind of foods and to check on our calorie intake as much as we can. Fortunately i found a FREE calorie counter on the web at My Fitness Pal , it's really a cool site as you get to check your calories you have consumed from a particular kind of food.

It even helps you pick what kind and how much dairy food you can have, meat and vegetables to keep you in your right diet.

It also works if you want to lose some pounds, but lose it healthily. The calorie counter
is so fast and easy to use and computing your calorie intake is a breeze.

Don't worry of any hidden charges as using the calorie counter is absolutely free. Check it out! :)

Insure your loved ones future

I have always been pondering on getting insurance policies for the family aside from the existing insurances we have now as we have three growing kids under our wing. Times today are really erratic and you really do not know what can happen in the future. But given the task of being parents we are given the responsibility to ensure that are children be taken cared of even if we are no longer here. It is sad, but yes it does happen. This is where Advantage Term Life comes in, i have looked ar their offerings and seen that they cover a lot of types of inurances including universal, term, employer group policies, whole life policies, all types of life insurance policies at a very low premium and presented with full coverage

There are a lot of different kinds of insurances available nowaday, but a standout for me is what http://www.advantagetermlife.com/ have to offer. It covers all my concerns and that in itself makes it the best policy there is. I have been given tons of leaflets and have received a lot of emails offering insurance policies and i have studied them well, but for me Advantage Term Life offers the cheapest premiums and the best coverage for my family. For you to qualify you just have to visit their website http://www.advantagetermlife.com/ and get an online quote at the comfort of your home. There are no medical exams even for senior citizens and for smokers, even overweight and diabetics can get covered with this policy, is it not a good deal?

Of course another thing to consider is how to lower your premiums so you don't have a hard time settling it http://www.advantagetermlife.com/best_rate.php It is also difficult to sustain paying the premiums but with Advantage Term Life i get to pay at the very lowest rate and yet get the feeling of security that my loved ones are covered. Sometimes you get the best deal there is but have difficulties in paying the premiums, this is something that you will not encounter with Advantage term Life as their premiums are low and easy on our growing familys budget. You can even pick if you want to go get the Whole life policies http://www.advantagetermlife.com/whole.php .

Check out the pros and cons in getting this kind of insurance http://www.advantagetermlife.com/universal.php to make your decision more clear and vivid. Insurance for your loved ones is really essential.Get them protected today. It is our best gift to our loved ones.

Tears are easy to get :)

Hay, i don't know why but lately (o sige, mga over a year na din) my tears are not a rare commodity. Signs of growing old? Now napapansin ko, kahit commercial lang na talaga namang targeted to pull heart strings of viewers get me, at di lang "pull", kundi "yank". I was watching this morning while preparing baon for the two girls the commercial of two soldiers sa kanilang post under the rain (setting is forest, so obviously parang stake out nila yun) the younger soldier asked the one beside him "Sir, ilang taon na po kayo?", sagot naman "48, ikaw?", young soldier answers "Ako po 19." ... "Kaedad mo yung panganay ko ... sana makauwi tayo sa kanila sa pasko noh" ... the younger soldier looks again at the older soldier and said "kaedad yun din po ang tatay ko." .... and that did it ... my tears welled in my eyes ...hay!

Maybe it's time that i switch careers and venture into drama, am sure they won't have a hard time motivating me to cry as like what i have said, my tears are freeflowing. :)

Bea's candid party shots

Received an offline message from my good friend Trixie and she gave me a link of her party photos ng little boy niyang si Cage.

She said "go to this link to see pics of Bea, Sam and Vin" ... so punta na ako .. masunurin eh!

I made her birthday invites and party backdrop as well, matagal ko na kasing friend si Trixie sa Smart Parenting egroup, plus ilang times na kami nagkasabay sa mga photo shoots for SP, at textmate!

As i was scrolling down her pictures sa multiply, kita ko sina Bea ... joining games, eating, watching the clown ....

but my fave pic of Bea is this!!

Halata kayang nagulat at namangha siya sa magic??!! o di naman mashado halata??!! hehehehe!!

Parties are really for kids! Kaya dapat mag-enjoy sila! Look at Bea! :)

Post-Birthday Post

FLASH NEWS! NEWS BULLETIN! THIS JUST IN! MAINIT NA BALITA!

38 na ako!

Nope, its not my address, nor is it my chest size (wishful thinking ..hmp, yoko din naman, mabigat... sourgraping noh! hahaha!) nor is it my waist line .... ganyan na ako katagal sa mundong ibabaw!

Pero kapag inisip mo what have i become na nga ba after 38 years of existence? Hmmm ... above all i am a mother to three miracles of God, a wife/partner/kakwentuhan/kasagutan/friend to Christian (who by the way is my first REAL boyfriend, if you know what i mean ..heheh!), a sister to three siblings, a daughter to one of the greatest parents there is and a child of God (Naks, ang bait!)
(parang chant!) heheheh!
But over all i am happy to what i have become, sana happy din yung mga tao sa paligid ko ... mahirap naman na ako lang ang nasisiyahan di ba? hehehe!

Pizza Time

My two girls really enjoy joining workshops, activities and ako naman "the official alalay" see how they have mastered interacting with others and how they are growing and building their character through different activities and with different people. I have often heard other parents tell me na "nakaktuwa mga kids mo, di sila gaanong mahiyain chaka marunong makipagusap", and that i feel they get from being with other people and socializing. Feeling ko these are traits na dapat madevelop sa kanila while they are still young, and these are things we cannot teach, thay have to come out of their shells on their own and know what they can do.

Naku serious ba post ko? Di ata bagay sa aking aura..heheh! Wala lang, senti lang ako kasi lumalaki na sila and i just pray that i have guided them well enough for them to face life as they grow older. Minsan mga simplengs sali-sali sa mga games will really help their self-confidence at self-worth, yung feeling na natatalo sa mga games, dapat inaassure sila "okay lang if you did not win, you had fun, and that's what games are for really, winning is just icing on the cake" ika nga. But one thing that i have seen in parties na pinupuntahan namin... mga parents na pinipilit mga kids nila sumali sa games pero ayaw nila, minsan di naman nila gaano kakilala mga bata dun then pinipilit nila, nawawala ang element of FUN .. before ganun ako, then naisip ko kawawa naman eh ayaw eh, kaya ngayon i don't ask them to join, sila na mismo nagsasabi ng "Mama, can i join that game?" or "Mama, i dont want to join that game, i dont like to say hhaaappppyyybbiiirrthhhddaayyy long"..hehhehe! Ako naman, sure, tapos palakpak palakpak ako sa mga kasali, kaya siguro naawa sila sa akin, pumapalakpak na mukhang #?@#, kaya sasabihin nila "Mama, we will join the next game, okay?" ...heheheh, siguro para matigil lang ako! :P

So anyway, naiba tuloy ang topic ko ... hehehe ....was in the mall when i saw a sign na pizza making camp at greenwhich. kaya eto na naman ako ask sa aking mga bossing "You want to join pizza making camp?", shempre walang hinihindian ang aking dalawang activity girls, kaya ayun join kami, ayyy SILA lang pala. :)

They were given aprons, hairnet and were lectured a little about cleanliness and food handling. Then they were given doughs where they put their sauce, and toppings (ham and mushroom), tapos they all marched sa kitchen and lagay sa oven and in mga 3minutes, they got their pizza na.
Kasama sa binayaran for the camp ang snack, so after mag-gawa-gawa ng pizza, they were served spaghetti, ice cream on waffle and drink. After eating giving of certificates na ... kaya i have two full-pledged pizza makers in the house! Kakagutom, maka-order nga ng pizza! hehehe!

Yummy arts and craft!

My sister Loren texted me that she is inviting the kids to a cookie decorating activity at the Serendra this saturday. Told Bea and Sam about it and there were all excited, there eyes sparkling and then came the tons of queries "When will it be mama?", "Is today thursday? Then friday? Then Saturday right? Thats's the day Nanay is inviting us?", "Will there be other kids?", "Are all our cousins going?", "How is that mama i don't eat cookies?!" naman ang predicament ni Bea ..hehehe! Sagot naman ako ng "It's okay Bea, you will just decorate it then give it to me.". and she answered "Oh, that's right! I'll make it sooo nice mama!" end of predicament. hahaha!

Have no problems with Sam as she really loves sweets ... kaya di naging problema ni Sam yun.

So saturday came and we went to my mom's house and together we all went to Serendra, Marta's Cakes to be exact. The place was really nice and everything looked yummy ... kami lang ang tao and we even met Marta herself and she showed us the different cookies the kids can choose from. It's at P90 per pack (2 cookies in one pack) then they give you the icing na then you decorate na in their cute small tables.

There were a lot of designs to choose from, pero nung sinabi ni Marta na may mga Pokemon designs, they all got that !

I was looking at Vin while the three girls were gushing over the cookies, di niya pinapansin at tumitingin tingin lang sa counter nung mga baked cookies na ..hehehe! Iba tlaga ang boys sa isip isip ko.

So while the girls were busy decorating, the little boy was busy eating a chocolate chip cookie! Everyone had a great time!

Before leaving the place to go a nearby bazaar, they look at me and said "mama, let's go back here soon ... i want to do this again!" I say, "Sure, just give me the finished products ha!" Yum! :)
